Delete your OwnlyAI account

Use this page to understand the in-app account deletion path and the web request option required for Google Play users.

Delete your account from the Ownly app

  1. Open the OwnlyAI Android app.
  2. Sign in with the Google account connected to Ownly.
  3. Go to Settings.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Review the warning, then confirm deletion.

After confirmation, Ownly processes your account deletion request, removes sign-in access, disables push notifications, and clears local app data from that device, including local cache and scheduled reminders.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access it, email us from the Google account email used for Ownly:

Include “OwnlyAI account deletion request” in the subject. We may ask you to verify account ownership before deleting data.

What changes with your account

After deletion, you will no longer be able to sign in to the account or use account-connected Ownly features.

  • Your Google sign-in access is removed.
  • Your account profile is removed from active use.
  • Push notifications for the account are disabled.
  • Local app data on the device is cleared after the in-app request completes.

Retention and exceptions

In-app account deletion is normally processed immediately. Web/email requests are handled after account ownership is verified.

Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment dispute, tax/accounting, backup, or compliance purposes.
