Ownly organizes information and provides AI-assisted output. It is not a substitute for a doctor, pharmacist, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser, or other qualified professional.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of the OwnlyAI Android application, APIs, website, agents, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

You must be legally capable of entering this agreement and meet the minimum digital-consent age applicable where you live. If you use Ownly for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. What Ownly provides

Ownly lets you capture or upload files, select an agent workflow, extract and structure information, save records, search content, receive reminders or suggested actions, and ask questions about your information. Available agents, providers, models, features, and limits may change over time or by plan and region.

Some functionality requires network access, Google authentication, third-party processing, or supported devices. Offline copies may not reflect the latest server state until synchronization completes.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for your account, device, authentication credentials, and activity under your account. Provide accurate information, maintain device security, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You may not transfer, rent, or sell your account or evade usage limits.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Ownly a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, format, analyze, and otherwise process that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service as permitted by our Privacy Policy and your settings.

You represent that you have the rights and lawful authority needed to upload and process the content. Do not upload another person’s confidential, health, identity, or financial information without appropriate authorization.

You are responsible for reviewing extracted fields, reminders, suggested actions, and edits before relying on them. Deleting a record may not immediately remove legally retained audit data or backups.

5. AI output and professional decisions

AI and optical-recognition results may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Confidence indicators are estimates, not guarantees. Verify source documents and consult an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions involving health, medication, safety, law, finance, insurance, taxes, employment, or other significant matters.

Do not use Ownly as an emergency service. For a medical or safety emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service. Ownly does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, validate medication safety, or guarantee reminders will be delivered.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Break the law, violate rights, or process information without lawful authority.
  • Upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, probe infrastructure, or bypass authentication, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Generate fraud, impersonation, harassment, discrimination, abuse, or dangerous instructions.
  • Reverse engineer the Service except where law expressly allows it.
  • Resell, scrape, overload, benchmark for competitive publication, or use automated access without written permission.
  • Use output as the sole basis for a high-impact decision about another person.

We may investigate violations, restrict processing, suspend access, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful authorities.

7. Plans, payments, and limits

Some features may be free, usage-limited, paid, or offered as a beta. Prices, billing periods, taxes, renewal terms, refund rights, and cancellation options will be shown before purchase through the applicable app store or payment channel. Mandatory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Availability, changes, and termination

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, successful synchronization, permanent storage, or compatibility with every file, device, model, or provider. Maintain original documents and independent backups.

We may modify or discontinue features, agents, models, integrations, or plans. We will provide notice where required. You may stop using Ownly at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, nonpayment, or legal necessity.

9. Ownly intellectual property

The Service, software, design, branding, workflows, and documentation are owned by Ownly or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, but we will not identify you publicly as its source without permission.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. These disclaimers do not apply where prohibited by mandatory law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ownly and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities resulting from use of the Service.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Ownly during the 12 months before the event or USD 100. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer remedies.

12. Responsibility for misuse

To the extent allowed by law, you will be responsible for claims and reasonable costs resulting from your unlawful content, infringement of another person’s rights, or material violation of these Terms. This section does not apply to consumers where prohibited.
